Open Educational Resources (OER) is a new term “Open Educational Resources” (OER) refers to educational resources (lesson plans, quizzes,phenomenon in the Indian/Asian region. The syllabi, instructional modules, simulations, etc.) that are freely available for use, reuse, adaptation, and sharing. This book, Open Educational Resources on Soft Skills, is an outcome of the sub-project conducted at the University of Madras as part of the PANdora project entitled “Quality and Openness is Asian Education” and funded by the International Development Research Centre, (IDRC) Canada.

Dr. V. Bharathi Harishankar is a Professor of English and Head i/c of the Department of Women Studies, University of Madras. Her research interests include gender studies, soft skills, postcolonial literatures, instructional literatures, instructional design and web – based pedagogy. Dr. Bharathi has so far published six books and 63 articles and translations in National and International journals.
