Dr. Vennelakanti Prakasam, retired in 2007 as professor from the English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad. He did his masters in English at Nagpur University and D. Phil, in Linguistics at the University of York, U.K.. He taught at EFLU (CIEFL), Hyderabad and Lucknow, Osdmania University, Hyderabad and Punjabi University, Patiala. His main areas of research are Telugu Linguistics, English Grammar, English Phonology, Stylistics and Forensic Linguistics.
